It is a part of the Caucasus region and is bordered by Turkey to the west, Georgia to the north, the Lachin corridor (under a Russian peacekeeping force) and Azerbaijan to the east, and Iran and the Azerbaijani exclave of Nakhchivan to the south. They toured with Arctic Moneys and Foo Fighters and performed at Glastonbury, Coachella, Rock in Rio, Reading & Leeds, etc.

From the moment their namesake debut album dropped in 2014, Royal Blood have rightfully earned critical acclaim as well as audience favors, not to mention numerous awards and nominations – Brit Award for Best British Group, BBC Sound of 2014, and Mercury prize Album of the year nomination, to name a few.

The innovative transformation of the bass guitar and soaring drums in their music leaves the audience bewildered as to how such a rich and intense sound can be the result of just two core instruments.

Royal Blood have successfully brought the minimalist band format common to garage-rock and alternative genres, made globally popular by bands like White Stripes and The Black Keys, to the 21st century with their modern sound and further fueled by their energetic live performances. Royal Blood are Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher who formed the band in Brighton in 2011.
